We estimate that 13.4% of the cardiovascular disease incidence can be attributed to a cytomegalovirus infection. WebConclusion: In CMV re-activation patients with rheumatic disease, the presence of oral candidiasis, high CMV pp65 positive cell count, and hypoalbuminemia are possible risk factors for CMV disease.
